All You Need to Know for Your Outgoing Charters Adventure.

Introduction

At Outgoing Charters, we aim to provide our clients with the best fishing experience possible. Before embarking on your adventure, here are some commonly asked questions to help you prepare.
Introduction
How do I book a charter with Captain Jesse?
A $200.00 deposit per day is required at the time of booking. You can reach out to Captain Jesse directly at 239-825-6283. If he’s out fishing and there’s no cell service, leave a message or send an email, and he’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
What is the cancellation policy?

Please inform us ASAP if you need to cancel. Cancellations within less than 14 days of the scheduled charter will incur $200 for half-day, $300 for 3/4 day and $400 full day fee. However, if weather conditions deemed by Captain Jesse as unfishable arise, your deposit will be refunded or used to reschedule your charter.

What does Outgoing Charters provide for the trip?
We provide a fishing license, rods, reels, fishing tackle, bait, a cooler with ice & bottled water, and we’ll clean and bag your catch for you.
What should I bring on the charter?

We recommend you bring a hat, camera (no GPS devices), sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, your food, snacks and other beverages (we supply bottled water), cool comfortable clothes, a cooler and ice for your catch, and rain gear just in case.

Are there accommodations nearby?
Yes! Some nearby lodging options include The Rod and Gun Club, Ivey House, River Wilderness, Everglades City Hotel, Chokoloskee Island Park Motel, and Captain’s Table.
Can I get my catch cooked at a local restaurant?
Absolutely! Local restaurants like Rod and Gun Club, Island Cafe, Havana Cafe, Camellia Street Grill, Triad Seafood, and City Seafood will happily cook your catch for you. If you’re visiting between mid-October and May, we highly recommend trying stone crab claws from local seafood markets.
Besides fishing, what other activities can I enjoy in the Everglades?
The Everglades offers a variety of activities. You can opt for an exciting airboat ride with options like Speedy Johnson Fun Cruise, Down South Airboat Tours, Corey Billies, Capt Mitch’s Private Airboat Tours, and Capt Jacks Airboat Tours.

We had a great time with Captain Jesse! He provided us with the kind of experience we were after and worked hard to put us on fish. He was patient with my boys and they were talking his ear off in no time. A trip we will never forget.

I have been fishing with Jesse at outgoing charters for over 10 years. Nobody knows the backwaters or how to catch fish there better than Captain Jesse. We caught fish every trip and he always makes it an enjoyable trip. He is friendly knowledgeable and patient. There is nothing like escaping the everyday stresses of life and heading to the backwaters to fish with Jesse at outgoing charters. Worth every penny.

It’s always been amazing with Captain Jesse fishing around the 10,000 islands in the Everglades. I went out in the beginning of February with him and he had me hooked up to the biggest fish I’ve ever caught! A giant cobia! The day kept getting better as we went further inland to catch several reds and a few snook! I can’t wait to get down there in a few weeks and do it all over again!

Jesse was great! He handled us on a full boat of me & 3 teenagers. He was joking & teaching my teens. Our first experience in the everglades. Caught a variety of species & saw dolphins. Loved it.

We have went out with Capt Jesse about 6 times in the past 5 years and we always have a great time! He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and does all he can to get you to the best fishing spots in the Ten Thousand Islands. There is no other charter captain we trust to take us fishing!
